  • Kenrick Bobb

    Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Kenrick Bobb is the Chief Executive Officer of Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU). He is responsible for providing strategic leadership and spearheading the organisation in achieving its vision and mission of improving operational efficiencies and creating greater stakeholder value. Mr. Bobb is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career in the energy sector spanning thirty (30) years. He has extensive experience in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy and has successfully led many teams in completing major engineering projects. Mr. Bobb’s visionary leadership and exceptional track record highlight his role in guiding TGU through the dynamic energy landscape.

  • Nigel Chinapoo

    Chief Operating Officer

    Mr. Nigel Chinapoo is the Chief Operating Officer) with responsibility for the finance, accounting, materials management and information technology operations of the business, having over 20 years of applicable experience. He has added to TGU’s wealth of expertise in finance, systems design, quality assurance, mergers and consolidations, having worked regionally and internationally in the banking and financial service sectors of both corporates and conglomerates.

  • Ganesh Sookdeo

    Plant Manager

    Mr. Ganesh Sookdeo joined the TGU Team on March 21st, 2022 as the Plant Manager with responsibility for Operations, Maintenance, Projects and Planning and other plant management related activities. He has extensive experience in Engineering, Maintenance and Project Management predominantly in the Oil and Gas Sector. He has held Leadership and Managerial roles on many multi-disciplinary teams to successfully implement and commission complex multi-disciplinary projects. Mr. Sookdeo brings over fifteen (15) years of leadership experience to TGU.

  • Jennifer Andall

    Corporate Services Manager

    Ms. Jennifer Andall is the Corporate Services Manager, responsible for strengthening and supporting organisational effectiveness and community engagement among the TGU team, stakeholders and wider community. Ms. Andall is a Human Resource and Project Management Professional with over twenty (20) years of experience in these fields. She has progressively functioned in strategic human resource management, organizational development, stakeholder engagement and project management roles. Her experience includes local and international agencies; as well as work in various industries in the public sector, including education and health.

  • Arlene Frederick

    Chief Financial Officer

    Ms. Arlene Frederick joined the Team TGU in February 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the establishment and maintenance of financial systems that safeguard the integrity of the company’s financial records and assets. With over 30 years’ experience as an accounting and finance professional, her expertise ranges from auditing to the preparation, analysis and review of financial reporting of companies in the oil and gas sector.

  • Adrian Sammy

    Operations Team Leader

    Adrian Sammy is the Operations Team Leader and has held this position since 2020. He is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of the TGU plant. He has been with TGU since its inception in 2010 and has 13 years’ experience in the electric power generation industry which includes over seven years of combined-cycle operations experience. In January 2017, he was promoted to QA/QC Reliability Engineer based on his engineering background and hands-on plant operations and maintenance experience.

  • Kirsten Meighu

    Health, Safety and Environment Team Leader

    Mrs. Kirsten Meighu is the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Team Leader. She is instrumental in the development and implementation of HSE programmes for risk mitigation and oversees the reviewing and auditing of the company’s HSE systems to ensure alignment with legislative compliance. Her leadership in HSE is geared towards sustaining a high-performing HSE culture and she provides operational support to all levels of the organisation and across all functional groups. Mrs. Meighu brings to the role over 25 years’ experience in the field of HSE and over 20 years in the power generation industry.

  • Boston Blake

    Boston Blake

    Security Team Leader

    Mr. Boston Blake is the Security Team Leader, having joined the TGU Team in September 2021. Mr. Blake has over 20 years of Security experience in the energy sector and is responsible for developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures to maintain impeccable security standards, as well as business continuity contingencies.

     

  • Dyanand Sean Bhola

    Maintenance Team Leader

    Dyanand Sean Bhola is the Maintenance Team Lead and has held this position since December 2018. Prior to this, he was the Planning & Project Engineer with responsibility for the planning of all major maintenance work and project management of capital projects at the facility. He has 18 years’ experience in the power and industrial sectors which has been a key contributor to the performance of the TGU plant, more so in the areas of project planning and outage management.

  • Devin Ramjattan

    Planning & Projects Team Leader

    Devin Ramjattan is the Planning & Projects Team Leader and has held this position since July 2016. Prior to this, he was the Mechanical Engineer with responsibility for the mechanical maintenance and reliability of the facility. He has 20 years’ experience in the power and industrial sectors which has been a key contributor to the performance of the TGU plant, more so in the areas of project planning and outage management.

  • Marcus Seaton

    Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Team Leader

    Marcus Seaton is the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Team Leader. He joined Team TGU in April 2017 with over 20 years’ experience in managing ICT systems and projects and has delivered business solutions in various industries, including energy, finance, government, private and legal sectors. He is responsible for managing, securing and optimising the strategic operations of the company’s information and communications technology systems and infrastructure.

  • Delissa Beharry

    Materials & Logistics Team Leader

    Ms. Delissa Beharry joined Team TGU in May 2020 as the Materials & Logistics Team Leader. She is responsible for the overall activities in the areas of procurement, inventory and logistics. She oversees the planning, directing and coordination efforts associated with the acquisition/warehousing of services and materials. She manages maintenance of inventory to meet demand, as well as oversees the shipping, receiving, issuance and adequate recording of all resulting transactions. She has over 13 years’ experience in the procurement industry, holding various senior titles in the manufacturing and telecommunications sectors.

  • Dianne Lochan

    Internal Auditor

    Ms. Dianne Lochan joined Team TGU in July 2019 as the company’s Internal Auditor. She is responsible for providing an independent, objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the company’s risk management, internal control and governance processes. She is an audit professional with 20 years’ experience in the oil and energy industry.

  • Maxine Wynne

    Company Secretary

    Ms. Maxine Wynne is the Company Secretary, responsible for the efficient administration of the Board of Directors and their decisions and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Ms. Wynne started working at TGU in November 2019 and has over 13 years of industry-specific experience.

  • Denise Badree

    Senior Legal Officer

    Denise Badree is the Senior Legal Officer, having joined the Team TGU in December 2019. She is responsible for developing, reporting and maintaining a framework for legal compliance. With over 18 years’ legal experience, including company, contract, litigation, corporate and criminal law, Ms. Badree assesses and manages potential legal risks.
