The Senior Legal Officer is primarily responsible for developing, reporting and maintaining a framework for legal compliance across the Company’s operations. This function will support the Board of Directors and Management in their responsibility to assess and manage potential legal risks.
A Graduate Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution; a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) or equivalent evidence of practical professional training; a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago and in good standing; a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a similar function, five (5)of which should be at a management level; experience in a state enterprise and a clear understanding of the energy and power industry will be an asset.
This position is responsible for providing a continuous, co-ordinated and comprehensive security service of the highest quality, ensuring that threats to company personnel, assets and business operations/activities are properly identified, evaluated and countered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
University Degree in Management, Business Administration or equivalent combination of qualifications; a minimum of 10 years’ broad experience in security management, five (5) of which must be at a managerial level; robust understanding of, and solid experience with, physical security principles and their impact on the mitigation of threats against people, assets and information; a pre-existing network of relevant external stakeholders (law enforcement agencies etc.) is required; experience in law enforcement will be an asset.
The Planning and Project Engineer is responsible for leading the planning process of all assigned maintenance work and projects as assigned according to the company work management processes and procedures through the creation of quality work packages including procedures, materials, tools, resources and HSE analyses. The function will optimise the planning systems and conduct Engineering analyses and recommend and implement improvements as necessary.
BSc. in Engineering or a related discipline; minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a steam and gas turbine power plant environment (or related industry) three (3) of which must be specialising in planning and/or scheduling of maintenance work or projects; Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate will be an asset.
