Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) manages a major fuel-efficient power plant in Trinidad and Tobago. The 720-megawatt (MW) TGU facility is a combined-cycle power plant which is owned by the National Investment Fund (NIF), the latter is a wholly owned entity of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago (GoRTT). The plant is located at the Union Industrial Estate, La Brea and supported by a Corporate Office in Chaguanas.

Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) is currently reviewing and updating its register of prequalified contractors and suppliers. The company invites suitably qualified firms and individuals, both local and international, to apply for prequalification in the following categories:

Interested parties seeking to provide goods and services to Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) must be registered and prequalified with the OPR’s Procurement Depository as established by Section 26 (1) of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act (2015) effective April 26, 2023.
