Mr. Ferguson is the Chief Executive Officer at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) since January 6th, 2020. He is responsible for planning, directing, controlling and reporting on TGU’s operations as it complies with institutional, regulatory and governmental requirements. He has over 25 years in the gas and petrochemical industry and has worked locally and internationally with top performers in the industry. Prior to joining TGU he held Senior Management roles with responsibility for commercial functions, including the Gas Purchase Agreements, Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) sales and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sales. Mr. Ferguson has experience in leading teams in strategy development and implementation.
Mr. Chinapoo is the Chief Operating Officer of Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) with responsibility for the Finance, Accounting, Materials Management and Information Technology operations of the business with over 20 years of experience. He has added to TGU’s wealth of expertise in finance, systems design, quality assurance, mergers and consolidations having worked regionally and internationally in the banking and, financial service sectors of both corporates and conglomerates.
Ms. Samlal-Ramlogan is Corporate Services Manager at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU), strengthening operational management and community culture among the TGU team, stakeholders and community. Ms. Samlal-Ramlogan’s professional career spans over 20 years in the Oil & Gas, Energy and Manufacturing sectors. She is responsible for managing all operational and strategic human resource systems, community affairs and communications.
Mr. Bahall is Plant Manager with responsibility for Trinidad Generation Unlimited’s (TGU) 720 MW combined cycle plant in La Brea. Mr. Bahall has worked for over 30 years in the electric power generation and energy industries. He brings to the role a wealth of expertise in efficient outage management of large Industrial Gas Turbines (Siemens, ABB & GE), Generators, Transformers and auxiliary equipment.
Adrian Sammy currently holds the position of Operations Team Leader (Ag). He has been with TGU since its inception in 2010. Adrian has over seven years Operations experience, five of which has been as a Lead Operator. In January 2017 he was promoted to QA/QC Reliability Engineer based on his engineering background and hands-on plant operations and maintenance experience. As an Engineer, he has acted in various capacities including E & I Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Planning and Projects Team Leader, and Operations Team leader. Additionally, he was assigned the Lead Engineer role in various major plant outages.
Mrs. Meighu is the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) responsible for ensuring the focus on health, safety and the environment at TGU with the development and implementation of HSE programs to mitigate risk. Mrs. Meighu ensures HSE legislative compliance and adherence to HSE policies and procedures. She brings to the role over 25years’ experience in the field of HSE and over 20 years in the power generation business.
Dyanand Sean Bhola is the Maintenance Team Lead at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) and has held this position since Dec 2018. Prior to this, he was the Planning & Project Engineer with responsibility of the planning for all major maintenance work and project management of capital projects at the facility. He has 15 years’ experience in the power and industrial sector which has been a key contributor to the performance of the TGU plant and more so in the areas of project planning and outage management.
Devin Ramjattan is the Planning & Projects Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) and has held this position since July 2016. Prior to this, he was the Mechanical Engineer with responsibility for the mechanical maintenance and reliability of the facility. He has 20 years’ experience in the power and industrial sector which has been a key contributor to the performance of the TGU plant and more so in the areas of project and outage management.
Marcus Seaton is our Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Team Leader. He joined the Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) team in April 2017 with over 17 years’ experience in managing ICT systems and projects, and has delivered business solutions in various industries including energy, finance, government and legal sectors. He is responsible for managing, securing and optimizing the strategic operations of the company’s Information Communications Technology systems and infrastructure.
Lieutenant Colonel Ahloy Hunt is Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) Security Team Leader having joined on 01 September 2019. He has over 30 years’ experience in security at the highest levels in national security and the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment (TTR). His knowledge in defence and security is extensive having developed the operation divisions of the Trinidad and Tobago Special Anti-crime Unit (SAUTT), Strategic Services Agency (SSA), completed the redesign and construction of the National Operation Centre (NOC) command center and reconstituted the Second Infantry Battalion of (TTR).
Dianne Lochan joined the Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) team in July 2019 as the company’s Internal Auditor. She is responsible for providing an independent, objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the company’s risk management, internal control and governance processes. She is an audit professional with 20 years’ experience in the oil and energy industry.
Mr. Martin is the Compliance Manager at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU). He joined the team in January 2020 and is responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates regulatory issues, policies, procedures and behaviour that meets the company’s Business practices and Standards of Conduct. Mr. Martin has over 15 years of experience in banking, business operations and the financial service sectors. He has worked in over eighteen countries across the Caribbean and brings a wealth of knowledge to the TGU team.
Denise Badree is the Senior Legal Officer at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU), having joined the TGU team in December 2019. She is responsible for developing, reporting and maintaining a framework for legal compliance within TGU. With over 18 years legal experience ranging from company, contract, litigation, corporate and criminal law Ms. Badree will work to assess and manage potential legal risks.
Ms. Wynne is the Company Secretary at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU), responsible for the efficient administration of the Board and Board Decisions and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Ms. Wynne started at TGU in November 2019 and brings to the role over 11 years of industry specific experience.
