As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Boodram leads the establishment of corporate strategies and global standards in local power generation at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU). He is responsible for planning, directing, controlling and reporting on TGU’s operations as it complies with institutional, regulatory and governmental requirements. With over 32 years’ experience in the electrical power generation industry, he has successfully held top management positions at three of the five major power plants in Trinidad & Tobago.
Mr. Chinapoo is the Chief Operating Officer of Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) with responsibility for the Finance, Accounting, Materials Management and Information Technology operations of the business with over 20 years of experience. He has added to TGU’s wealth of expertise in finance, systems design, quality assurance, mergers and consolidations having worked regionally and internationally in the banking and, financial service sectors of both corporates and conglomerates.
Mr. Bahall is Plant Manager with responsibility for Trinidad Generation Unlimited’s (TGU) 720 MW combined cycle plant in La Brea. Mr. Bahall has worked for over 30 years in the electric power generation and energy industries. He brings to the role a wealth of expertise in efficient outage management of large Industrial Gas Turbines (Siemens, ABB & GE), Generators, Transformers and auxiliary equipment.
Ms. Samlal-Ramlogan is Corporate Services Manager at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU), strengthening operational management and community culture among the TGU team, stakeholders and community. Ms. Samlal-Ramlogan’s professional career spans over 20 years in the Oil & Gas and Manufacturing sectors. She is responsible for managing all operational and strategic human resource systems, community affairs and communications.
Mr. Sookraj is the Operations Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) responsible for the management of plant operations. Since his appointment to the position, Mr. Sookraj has strengthened overall plant efficiency with over 17 years’ experience gained from several key positions in plant operations with the electric power generation industry in Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Bipat is the Maintenance Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU), a position he held since 2011. His keen oversight of the Maintenance team is vital to the performance of the plant and this is strengthened by his wealth of experience spanning over 32 years in the power generation industry and professional and academic training.
Mrs. Meighu is the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) responsible for ensuring the focus on health, safety and the environment at TGU with the development and implementation of HSE programs to mitigate risk. Mrs. Meighu ensures HSE legislative compliance and adherence to HSE policies and procedures. She brings to the role over 20 years’ experience in the field of HSE and over 15 years in the power generation business.
Marcus Seaton is our Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Team Leader. He joined the Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) team in April 2017 with over 17 years’ experience in managing ICT systems and projects, and has delivered business solutions in various industries including energy, finance, government and legal sectors. He is responsible for managing, securing and optimizing the strategic operations of the company’s Information Communications Technology systems and infrastructure.
Devin Ramjattan is the Planning & Projects Team Leader at Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) and has held this position since July 2016. Prior to this, he was the Mechanical Engineer with responsibility for the mechanical maintenance and reliability of the facility. He has 17 years’ experience in the power and industrial sector which has been a key contributor to the performance of the TGU plant and more so in the areas of project and outage management.
